Photo Timestamp Checker
Check whether a photo's timestamp can be trusted: capture time, edits, software, GPS and what none of it proves. Free and private.
No photo handy? Try a sample:
How it works
- 1.Drop a photo you have been sent, or one of your own.
- 2.The checker reads the capture time, modification time, software tag, camera and GPS and flags what looks off.
- 3.Read the verdict, and read the last line twice: none of these fields are protected.
Everything runs on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, and we never see them.
Why this matters on a jobsite
Drop the sample phone photo: four green lines. Drop the edited sample: Photoshop in the software tag, a modified time hours after capture, no camera, no GPS. That is what a doctored photo usually looks like from the outside.
Now imagine putting the tags back with the free tools on this site. The checker turns green again. It catches the careless; only a seal made at capture catches the careful, and that is what the app's verify page checks.
Proof that holds up, automatically
Worksite Photos stamps, geotags, seals and organizes every photo the moment you take it, and gives your client a verify link nobody can argue with. From $5 per user a month. Clients and subs are free.
