Add GPS Coordinates to Photos

Write latitude and longitude into a photo's EXIF metadata, from your current location or typed in. Free, runs in your browser.

No photo handy? Try a sample:

How it works

  1. 1.Drop a JPG. If it already has a location, the fields fill in so you can correct it.
  2. 2.Type a latitude and longitude, or use your current location.
  3. 3.Save. The pixels are untouched; only the EXIF GPS tags change.

Everything runs on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, and we never see them.

Why this matters on a jobsite

Load the sample above. It has no location. Type in the coordinates of any address, save, and the file now says it was taken there. Drop the result into the location finder and the map agrees.

Handy for a camera that had location off. Also the plainest demonstration that location metadata on its own settles nothing. The app records the location at the moment of capture and seals it with the image, so it cannot be moved afterward.

Proof that holds up, automatically

Worksite Photos stamps, geotags, seals and organizes every photo the moment you take it, and gives your client a verify link nobody can argue with. From $5 per user a month. Clients and subs are free.
